Chautauqua Institution is a community on the shores of Chautauqua Lake in southwestern New York state that comes alive each summer with a unique mix of fine and performing arts, lectures, interfaith worship and programs, and recreational activities. Over the course of nine weeks, more than 100,000 visitors will stay at Chautauqua and participate in programs, classes and community events for all ages—all within the beautiful setting of a historic lakeside village.

Jan. 12 Gate Passes, parking, boat registration, recreation activities and youth programming on sale
Mar. 18 LAST DAY: North/South Lot renewal
Prior season Opera ticket holders to purchase reserved seats.
Price Increase: Season and Season Weekend passes, season and weekly mooring and boat registration
Mar. 31 - Apr. 2 Theater ticket packages advanced sale. (Note: Ticket Office closed April 3–5 for the holiday.)
Apr. 6 Special Studies registration begins
Popular Entertainment, Opera and Theater Tickets, Day Passes on sale.
June 3 Scooter rental reservations begin
PRICE INCREASE: Season and Weekly Passes, season and weekly mooring and boat registration.
June 27 Season and weekly gate passes become non-refundable

Step Two :: Tickets
To enter the Institution grounds, a gate ticket is required for all visitors ages 13 to 90; a youth ticket is available for ages 13 to 25. This ticket is your passport to the Chautauqua Experience, entitling you to attend most events on the grounds, including all lectures, religious services, Amphitheater entertainment and performances by the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra.
